Need something more. This software can restore files which have been deleted in a recent past. That's why it cannot satisfy me. I wanted to get back my files which I deleted before 6 months or more. It didn't work for that. If you please think on it then more people will be benefitted. Thank you.

why Recover Data for NTFS can\'t recover a single file that is bigger than 4G?

I found that I was getting a somewhat cryptic error message at startup. \"Error:Partition 1 on harddisk 1 is not UNKNOWN.The system is FAT16Do you want to correct the error?\"Although I was not sure what that meant, clicked yes and got similar messages for the other two partitions. After clicking yes, I got to the main program.I think it was indicating the wrong partition as the boot partition, but could not find out how to correct it.What I really need to do is re-create / repair the MBR, but again I am not sure how to do ...

I always used to use an older version of fdisk that came with windows 98/ME on a floppy. But when I bought a one terrabyte hard drive and tried to fdisk it with my old version, I found that it only recognised half of the terrabyte.So I downloaded your Super fdisk 1.0 version and not only could I fdisk the whole 1 terrabyte partition, I also made a boot cd disk and threw the old floppy drive away.Its easy to use, easy to see what your doing.And less confusing if you have more than one h/drive.Brian Australia.

It did not work. 2 different systems booted to menu, but when anything was selected it locked the machine with a memory stack error message.

This was a blessing, I tried a lot to revive the windows XP to boot normally and to restore data from another PC, but in vain the windows would restart. NTFS4DOS boot made it possible to run CHKDSK and rectify the problem and restore back WinXP to boot normally.Thanks . I have request my boss for an official copy.

I downloaded the product and created a boot disk to deploy it on an NTFS volume that would not boot and the NTFS4DOS shell did not work. Opinion Good evening The problem is that my HDD is not seen on computer. It is impossible to work with all the information on it - it seems to be completely lost. So I was trying to find any programme which could help to restore the files. Some files were recovered but I\'m not sure if they are the ones I needed. The only way to make sure is to open at least one file, unfortunately I can do it only after having bought your programme. Anyway thank you once again for answering. Sincerely yours Marina

After a write error by Windows, my USB connected disk became inaccessible. DiskInternals managed to retrieve many of the structure and original filenames successfully in a relatively short time.

Good Product Pretty Good Software for restoration of important docs

Excellent product but speed... What an excellent product. Would be quite happy to roll out company-wide as well as recommend to clients. But it is a little on the slow side when cloning a drive. 2 hours for a 160GB drive via USB 2.0 (perhaps this is the norm?). Fully satisfied though!

Worth a try I have only used the program once and that was to try and recover from a catastrophic disk failure. I didn't work: but I guess that is the nature of the problem.I'm glad to have the program available in the case of less dire problems!

Good utility Saved a most important document on my removable drive. the folder got currept due some read/write problem on my notebook.but this tool helped me recover it

Great, but scary The program itself is perfect, does exactly what it should do. I installed it to demonstrate a nasty bug in windows using symlinks. If you create a symlink to a folder in the folder a recursion error happens that will sometimes crash explorer or give virus scanners infinite loops. If you never do the above scenario then I highly recommend this shell extension.
